***UPDATE*** The seller contacted me after posting my review and offered to replace the collars for free as it was clear one was somehow defective. Whether the replacement parts worked or not, it was great customer service. Thank you Yacig! I have since received a replacement and have used it several times. We seem to have a consistent time frame of almost two hours, and I've found that certain colors drain the battery faster. If you just want to see in the dark when your pups walk or run, they're great for that (watching the lights move in the dark is an endless source of entertainment for us. It's like Tron but with dogs). Usually my dog runs about 2.5-3 hours with his girlfriend before coming back for a nap so these collars definitely do the job. Upgraded my rating to four stars. **** Original Review **** I bought two of these, one for my dog and one for his best friend who often comes to play in the evenings after work. I thought they would be good for us so we know which dog is which and where they are when it gets dark. This collar definitely lives up to that and emits a really bright light in many different colors. Within about 45-60 minutes. One of the collars keeps dying after about an hour no matter how much time it spends on the charger and no matter what color settings I have enabled. I took it off the charger last night after charging it for 3 days and like clockwork the lights turned red after about 55 minutes and the collar was completely dead after an hour. The other collar shines about 100 minutes on a full charge to keep. I'm not sure what the durability standard is for these collars but it seems a little inconsistent in my lot. I think if you just want to take your pup for a short walk in the evening or want a little flair while walking your dog. PM event, they're great for that, but if you're looking for something more permanent this isn't it. Disappointing because it could be so cool! The buckles on both collars are definitely made of plastic.
