I ordered a table extender and it works great with many forks in one. The cord is long, medium thickness. The rook stands still, the cord doesn't pull it down, the rook doesn't move. The tower is not heavy, but the round construction makes it strong. It has a red indicator light to show that the turret has power. The only thing I don't like is that the wall outlet plug doesn't have a third prong. Plus, the huge bezel for each socket on the tower makes it look like one of those phones with huge numbers on the face. The tower has two power buttons at the top; This is useful if you have a lamp plugged into it and you want to turn it on without getting up, or turn power on or off for items plugged into that side of the tower.
