I have a 6lb yorkie who is very energetic and even restless. I had read that the walk and that it carries some weight might help so I bought it not sure if it would fit or if it would work. I also read that the weight should be 20-30% of the dog's weight, so I just put a few things in it like keychains, some treats, a small bottle of water for myself and it worked. At first he did not want to move with a backpack on himself, but after several attempts he began to like it. Now he understands what it means to go for a walk every time I get him! And he seems more rested when we come back, which is good as he has way too much energy.
