2 of the resulting bulbs turn on after screwing in, but there is a delay in current delivery. I started to fade, and after unscrewing and twisting again, I eventually got lighter. The fourth doesn't light - either the LEDs stay very dim, or they don't light up enough to be visible with another nearby bulb. Update: Tried the faulty bulb in another light and it lights up correctly. Plug it back into the fan it was purchased for and it will turn off. Compared to the Sylvania 800LM LED, the brightness seems to be about the same. Update again: 3 to 5 stars. So the lamps have the brightness I was looking for and everything works. But the base is slightly different. As for the fan connector, which I was having trouble with, I pulled the middle tab out a bit and the improved contact made all the difference (with the device powered off, of course). Why it mattered with these bulbs when the 4 other bulbs I tried worked fine without adjustment is a mystery.
