Excellent stands. Hard-surfaced plastic or cardboard coasters often stick to the bottom of a wet glass and then fall (condensation spillage), and sometimes glasses/mugs slide off uneven surfaces (content spillage). These are non-slip surfaces that absorb condensation. They are attractive and other people praise them when they visit and enjoy using them. When I first received them I had a slight rubber smell. But it fades quickly and does not smell.
