After unpacking before the Christmas Eve swim it turned out to be 1 piece. Smells good, excellent color rendering and foam, does not stain. I was a little unimpressed with the toy. It was a flat, crooked, very sticky, soft unicorn - I thought it was one of those hollow, soft unicorns, almost like a rubber ducky. Regardless, my daughter was happy and it was one of the few toy bath bombs I could find. 50/50 if I get it back.
