Great for trail running or steeplechase
I do a lot of steeplechasing called Spartan Racing and at some points in the race you can run in mud and no shoe is better for running on dirt or any track other than spikes. When you use long cross-country spikes, they dig into the ground or dirt, making it difficult for you to slip.
