Camera: Canon R5, Lens RF 1.2 85MM, Speedlite SL580exii. Bought a tripod mount. The lens has no mount. A newly discovered cell interferes with the installation of the flash. The Speedlite is not communicating with the camera. The flash found climbed onto the cage and lifted the flash's contact plate in front. This caused the flashes to stick when locking, excessive pressure on the hot shoe, and damage to the flashes. This is a design flaw. All it takes is a few thousand more ground clearance. Apparently I missed the return deadline. In this post, I ask SmallRig to fix the problem and send me a replacement. This is a very high quality product. Fit and finish are excellent. I would recommend it 5 stars if it weren't for this design flaw.
