This fits my desk perfectly. As a tall and wide person, I need a stable chair if I want to sit that high off the ground. This chair serves its purpose. The base is strong, as is required for such support, but it has a large footprint and takes up a lot of room when pushed to one side. The only criticism is the footrest. It doesn't spin in circles like some ring-shaped stools. I'm bad for not learning the photos better. What I didn't see was a CONSTANT struggle to keep the footboard in place. It slips worse than an ill-fitting sock. If I use it as a jab to get my ass in a chair it's over, I rolled down the bar. I have to put a small stool (the kind little kids use when they can't reach the sink) under the table as a stand. I'm thinking of getting a piece of PVC pipe to slip over the chair leg as a blocker and support for the footstool. It's not ticklish that you have to build a $250 chair, hence the one star.
