Review on πŸ”§ HTTMT MT299-002- Fork Clamp Turn Signal Clamps for Harley Softail Mount Bracket 39mm Fork - Black (Compatible, High-quality) by Andrew Frison

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Some play is allowed and it's a little more than I expected. Be careful not to overtighten as aluminum

For $12 my expectations weren't very high, but when it works it's a bit more than I can spend on anything else. In that sense, this is my experience. There are no instructions, but installation is easy. Cheap aluminum. I highly recommend replacing the head bolts. It doesn't take much to twist and ruin a thread. I would like to see a better fit as there is quite a gap between the two pieces. First ride before replacing the head bolts, one fork worked fine the other fell off. I went to the store and bought two sets of cap screws (M4-0.7 x 16mm). They are much higher quality and very cheap ($1.12 for two sets of two). They fit better than the original and look more durable. I'm upgrading this from 2 to 3 with an additional $1.12 for new head bolts (see pic).

Pros
  • A complete set to move the front turn signals.
Cons
  • I really don't like it, everything is fine
