We bought 2 sets of these lights for our garden. We wanted all-weather lights to extend from our yard to the fence, so we measured and bought these lights. Both kits had one non-working bulb, but additional spare bulbs were supplied with each kit. The lamps are made of plastic, so you no longer have to worry about glass bulbs breaking during installation! We use a solar panel to power the lights and that worked great (you can also plug them into a power source). The light turns on automatically at night. The lights take a little longer to turn on than the other solar powered lightbulbs we have, but once it gets pretty dark they turn on and stay on. These lanterns create a pleasant (not too bright) illumination of our yard. See my video and photos for more information. Hope they work for many years! I recommend these lights!
