Review on Pack of 3 Bigen Permanent Powder Hair Color 88 Blue Black - Vibrant and Long-lasting Solution for Beautiful Hair by Rebecca Sparks

NOT BLUE BLACK JUST BLACK. A BOX CAN BE EXPANDED

I have been using it for many years. Doesn't smell like good results, except that there's almost no blue in the jet black. I have yet to find an ammonia-free permanent dye that is truly blue-black. So 4 stars instead of 5. That's how I apply - I add 3 times as much water as the instructions say! This stuff thickens into a clog so quickly that I can't use my applicator bottle (my own, not included with the paint). After cutting off the tip of the applicator bottle so hard and it was still clogged, I knew this Bigen needed more water! First I fill the pot 2 times with water according to the instructions, i.e. 2 pots full of hot water. I like hot water, not boiling water, of course the powder dissolves better. I put this in my empty applicator bottle. I add the color last so the powder doesn't stick to the bottom of the bottle. I shake well. You will see that the result is still very thick but thin enough to come out of the applicator bottle. As I work on my roots, oh my god, the mixture thickens again, fast! I add another pot of hot water to the applicator bottle! The results are the same, even better because it's hard to miss runny liquid stains! So I get three times more product than before! I have short hair so no additional product needed, but you girls with medium to long hair should definitely give it a try! Sometimes I even add a fourth pot of water depending on how quickly it thickens. So you get more for your money!
