People losing fish as a result are not dosing correctly. Just because you have a 120 gallon tank doesn't mean it actually has 120 gallons of water in it. Also be careful - this is measured in "drops" - it's not the most accurate way to measure, esp. if the product is in a plastic bottle from which a few drops often come out, or from a small trickle if you are trying to get just a drop. I use it in a 20 gallon tank with a sponge filter (pretreated). Although I only use my QT a few times a year, I keep it bioactive year-round. I fly, wait a few days, fly again, wait a week or so, and if everything looks good they put the fish on the windows. So far there have been no problems for several years. It will KILL your fish if you overdose.
