It's hard to say anything bad about her.

We needed a new cover for our early 2000's Toyota Corolla because the other one was beginning to crack and crumble at the seams. We thought we'd better replace it now that these cars are reaching an age where this type of replacement is becoming harder and harder to find. As others have mentioned (or might have), there doesn't seem to be much of a difference in build quality between the original and this aftermarket model. But there is at least one. The original had a metal sleeve for the screw, and it was a machine screw, so it was (generally) just a more reliable system for screwing the two body halves together. It has a tapered screw and the thread of the screw needs to bite into the plastic. Which isn't great, but it's fine unless you (for whatever reason) find yourself taking things apart and putting them back together. I suppose you won't have much trouble with this screw unless you take it apart and reassemble it at least twice and possibly overtighten. The most important thing I have to say is that these things cost over $20 for a pair, which is pretty expensive. The chain on this replacement looks shorter and not as high quality as the original, so I used the original chain. The metal battery holder wasn't there as expected, it just dangled in the case along with the screw. I don't know if it was supposed to be like that or not, but it was like that. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to reattach the clip to properly hold the battery. If you buy these things and get them as is, chances are you at least have the original to compare to. General? Very easy. Just a couple of minutes. Despite my complaints, I'm glad it's available because I doubt it would be cheap or fun to contact Toyota to replace this thing with them.
