Review on Beaute Galleria Hair Bun Maker Set - 4 Foam Sponge Bun Twist Shaper Hair Donuts Chignon Ballet Sock Bun (Includes 2 Large and 2 Small) by Stephanie Webb

Nice addition to my bun baking kit, but I have a better option.

I'm a bun man. Especially until I find a barber I can trust. I have to wear my hair. Daily. I have tried every product to help me. They're *great* in terms of ease of use because the foam helps catch the hair and you feed it through the hole rather than picking it up with some kind of 'lever' and hoping it doesn't fall out when you do it frizzes hair (people with some experience with this will understand what I'm talking about. Great visual instructions on how to use these items you can find them on the web just find the tutorial videos on youtube and you'll be fine. ) I was very happy to get them and the smaller ones look great on my mom's fine hair. My hair is layered (thanks to my newest stylist) so I'm having a hard time doing neat buns. This can be done with enough pins and pins. The bun has a nice shape (I reinforced it with pins and spray). So I recommend these biscuit rolls, but with one caveat: they don't last long. I've used the one I'm wearing now about 4 times and the metal inside is warped like hell. I think I can get a little bit more out of it, but not much. It no longer has the tension I need for the thickness of my hair. I save them for special occasions or in the mornings when I have problems. And I will most likely buy more. But I am disappointed with the lack of durability. To make the magic bun more durable, take one that consists of two ribbons connected at one end and covered with your hair color "hair". Right here on Revane. The learning curve is a bit tricky (but once you get the hang of it, believe me, you won't go back). These pieces hold thick hair much better, and I have one that I've been wearing almost every day for the past two months without showing any signs of stopping. slightly damp (if dry, add a few handfuls of water before rolling out) and add some lipstick or gel before rolling out. This should help tame the whiskey and layers. Be patient with yourself. I've personally found that I get better results *not* when I look in the mirror, but when I feel. These foam-covered bun makers are a great choice if you're just starting out with bun-making accessories (because they're easier) and don't mind getting just a few uses for the price. Otherwise, use another type (or a third type, the styrofoam donut, also very easy but requires more ribbons and pins). Good luck beauty! Do you have this!
