Problem with noisy dog next door?

I have neighbors who abandon their dog and leave him in the garden for a few days. They don't live there permanently. Your dog is a pit bull mix breed and barks non-stop at the fence all day and night. After being diplomatically unable to solve a noisy dog, we booked one of them. I hung it from a small branch on a tree by the fence and pointed to the neighbors. The next time the dog was set down, I heard a bark, a bark and a half, then nothing. again and again. The best part is it keeps her dog and my dog off the other side of the fence so they stop hitting each other. As I expand my fenced yard I will be ordering more of these.
