Works great on a 2012 13" MacBook Pro. Speeds up work so the little spinning ball either doesn't reappear or quickly disappears. Even Microsoft programs run faster! Very easy to install, just follow the instructions on Apple's website, but make sure you ground your hands AND the MacBook during installation (to avoid ESD damage) and that you have tiny screwdrivers and Apple tools to remove the back cover from the computer. Be sure to grab the tiny Apple screws and put them back in the same holes they came out of (they're not all the same. I also recommend a bright light and some magnifying glasses. Unless you have a cover, If possible, you should vacuum the dust from the fan, then simply turn on the computer again, wait a little until it recognizes the new chips, and you go off!
