Review on Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 Art DC HSM Lens - Canon Compatible, Black (210101) by Vinay Rao ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

Top for your money! Get ready to align it if you don't have the best autofocus in your camera. But if you are the owner of a dual pixel autofocus and you are not embarrassed by focusing through the screen, and not through the viewfinder, you will not regret it for a second. The best lens for crop. It is he who will allow you to fully touch the wide angle and you will get a wonderful experience from using it. Well, if you shoot a video on a crop, then you seem to have no more options if you want a wide angle and aperture ratio. Once again, if you are in focus, the sharpness of this lens will please you. I’m not talking about colors and chromaticity, after all, lightroom is an integral part of the process of creating a photo. And if someone does not like the color, then they can always be corrected (which cannot be said about sharpness) Photos taken on Canon 90d + sigma 18-35 + photoshop

Pros
  • Aperture sharpness (if autofocus did not miss) design reliability
Cons
  • weight (heavy, of course) if used on DSLRs through the viewfinder, it often misses focus if used through live view - there was not a single miss in focus (canon 90d)
