I hate writing reviews that illustrate my hypocrisy in this way because I rely on them so much to purchase products. Two years ago I fell in love with my Nutri-Bullet and started making daily healthy smoothies for health and weight loss. And it worked! I've lost over 40 pounds and feel a lot better. But. I was very disappointed with the cheap blade head which wore out in 6 months. The irony is that the Nutri-Bullet product looks really well made (motor, body, etc.) with the exception of the blade part. Anyway, I was considering buying a replacement part, but didn't like the idea of buying new blades every six months just to use the product. After nine months of deliberation due to chronic laziness, I finally found and reluctantly purchased this product. What a big surprise! Surprisingly even better than the original. What everyone else has said is actually true. Much quieter operation, thicker blade, better sealing (i.e. tighter thread fit, less leakage), etc. In short, this is a great product. So if you're like me and love Nutri-Bullet but hate blades, then this product is for you. There. I have finished my review. My first review in a year.
