This product was a great choice to quickly fix a leak in my in-ground pool. My leak was on the outside of the 1Β½ inch Schedule 40 PVC pipes that run through the sidewall of the pump return nozzle. Blast nozzle, exposing the joint between the 1Β½" PVC pipe and the cement/Diamond Bright wall. Before work began, a utility knife was used to dig up any loose cement/Diamond Bright around the pipe, causing the leak slightly enlarged at this point. A suitable length of epoxy rod was cut and then hand mixed until a uniform color was achieved. This mixed epoxy was pressed into the gap between the 1Β½" PVC and the Cement/Diamond Bright until I could no longer fill the gap could press. The leak was identified using liquid food coloring and a baby syringe of liquid oral medication prior to repair. This allowed for very controlled placement of small drops of dye into the water next to a suspected leak and then watching the water flow push it through a gap in the wall. Once the epoxy sealed the leak, the food coloring showed that the leak had been sealed.
