Ever since my husband and I got Sonicares for ourselves, our kids (9 and 7) have been asking if they could both get one. I know how much cleaner my teeth have been during my last two visits to the dentist (fewer coffee/tea stains and a lot less plaque behind my bottom front teeth) that these toothbrushes work, but I was concerned our kids weren't ready for that Use them in instructions. (Okay, I'll be honest. I didn't want toothpaste flying all over the bathroom unless they had brushes in their mouths.) Anyway, my kids both got one for Christmas and they train. simply good. Toothpaste isn't flying out of your mouth—yet. The best thing about this product is a timer that will beep every thirty seconds, instructing the user to move to a different quadrant of the mouth. I had to teach a 7 year old how to quadrant his mouth, but he quickly got the hang of it. This timer not only ensures that all teeth are cleaned well, but also keeps the kids busy while they wait for the beep. They just don't have time to mess around because they're too busy waiting for the signal! Another interesting feature of the Sonicare for Kids are the decorative clasps. These easy to apply stickers are fun and keep my kids from confusing their toothbrushes.
