#10 is perfect for removing nail polish!
They do what I intended, which is to clean the edges when I do my manicure. I'm self-taught with acrylics and hard gels and have amassed a whole collection of knick-knacks to get the job done. So far I've only used the #10 brush and I've used it several times, always in pure acetone, and I've never had a problem with it fraying or coming loose. The price for the whole set was less than the price in a beauty store, so I'm happy with it. If it fails I'll fall back on others, but again I only use it to clean up after polishing.
