Except for "wet work" as this paper has no teeth and isn't thick enough to withstand watercolor or very wet acrylic painting. That's okay because it's a wonderful sketch paper to use to complete a pastel or colored pencil drawing. Charcoal, pastels, pencils are great papers for this type of material. I also have a lightbox and this paper works well if you have an image that you want to reproduce if the image is on a type of paper that allows light to see through and with this paper on top you can sketch. Transfer the main lines of your image to paper, then use any medium to complete your own version of the copied image. I also used another method - I have a Moto G3 Play with a projector connected to my phone. I found a photo of my son and grandkids that he sent me on my phone, pasted a piece of that paper to the clipboard and then projected a photo of my son/g-kids onto the paper, quickly drawing the main lines of the image. and then used colored pencils to make it mine! I love having drawing paper on hand and these notebooks!
