We have very hard water and my dishwasher is forming a white crust. I disabled the dry cycle, which helps and isn't needed anyway. But a weekly dose of LemiShine will remove most of the crust. There is an area around the seal that requires hand cleaning. I opened a sachet and poured some into a jar of jelly and I can dip a wet toothbrush in for manual cleaning. Then I just put the rest in the dishwasher as instructed. My only concern is that the boxes aren't particularly durable - I think it's all recyclable junk - and my last order arrived with both boxes. Luckily I don't need them, I just put the bags in an old empty box. Had it been sent in a bubble box this could have been avoided. The problem is not the manufacturer, but the wrong choice of Amazon packaging. My last order wasn't damaged as it came in a box. I've seen couriers scatter packages. Not surprisingly my LemiShine was worn when it arrived. But guess what! My dishwasher doesn't mind. The thing works great!
