Bigger than a tome but in a way it's lighter and gives me peace of mind

I wasn't planning on reviewing something as simple as a case, but lately it's become an unsung hero to me. There's plenty of protection and I appreciate that the case has a lip over the edge of the screen so it doesn't shatter if it falls on the screen rather than a corner. Everything fits perfectly, even over the protective film. All holes fit buttons/flash jack/headphone jack/cameras. The rubber case doesn't come off easily unless you're the type who tends to fiddle with the case while using the tablet. The stand is basic but works well - it offers a good angle for watching videos or drawing and can also be flipped for vertical use. Figure out the best way to snap it in place and then snap it back into place (simply grab the stand leg and push inward where the leg meets the stand's lower platform, it should snap easily). It doesn't have an open area for the smart keyboard slot, but I use it primarily for drawing, and I honestly like the fact that I don't have to carry an extra keyboard with me, as the onscreen keyboard is sufficient for anything but typing business documents into insane speed. Speed. The sleeve, which once fitted around an iPad, is larger than a regular flip-out sleeve, but I personally find the sleeve without a flip even easier to carry around.
