These connectors were clearly created in a lab by an evil genius aiming to drive insane anyone who dares to follow the wiring diagram used by every other TRS -cable used in the universe. Using this you can hook them up like this and don't go crazy: - red - negative signal - white - positive signal - black - shield The jacks seem safe and the signal sounds good.
