Review on Nelson Rigg CB 03 LG Compression Bag Large by Evan Beougher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The bag gets very small

I bought this bag to pack my sleeping bag very compact. I use a military green patrol bag as my regular bag due to my size (6ft 2in) and budget and I was able to downsize it to a size slightly smaller than a basketball. I bought a large bag without knowing the right size. , but I'm sure a medium sized bag is better for sleeping bags. Looking at this bag I believe a medium sized bag fits most one person bags. The large size was still a huge improvement over stuffing it in my bag. The sides of the bag are made of thick nylon material. The overall design of this bag, although it looks complicated, is very sophisticated. There are 4 straps on each side, and one of the straps has a buckle, so you can put your gear in and then fasten again in the correct position. The straps are smooth to pull together and each strap makes it look smaller and smaller. The top handle is a nice feature. One thing I would like to see is a feature that prevents the straps from dangling. After each strap is fully tightened, it will hang about 10 inches. This does NOT affect performance. Product benefits PROS - High quality material - Thick straps on side for pull down - Design is perfect - Packed my sleeping bag to the size of a basketball, could probably go to volleyball MINUS - Straps dangled down after fully tightened. were impressed with the usefulness of this bag. The ingenious design has helped me pack my hiking bag much easier.

Pros
