This vest is of excellent quality and works exactly as described. The built-in leash is very practical - the leash is attached directly to the vest. The straps are very strong and firmly attached to the vest. Our pups don't like anything that gets turned upside down, so we all prefer a step up in design. The fabric under the back zipper keeps her long fur from getting caught in the zipper, which is always a plus. Her chest is fully covered, but the vest doesn't interfere with her "business" parts. lol, Kevin has a great cover. He weighs 11 pounds, neck 15.5, girth 16.5. Ellie has pink in X-Large. She is 15 pounds. I forgot to write down her measurements. Kevin's vest was worn 2 winters and washed several times. This is Ellie's first winter, but I'm assuming her vest will hold up just as well.
