Works great! I like drinking ice water in the middle of the night and I have to tell you this mug makes my water ice cold. I filled my cup with ice and water around 12am and when I woke up at 3am, 5am and 6am there was still cold water with ice in my cup 🧊. six hours of ice cream. It also does NOT sweat, which is great because I keep my phone and water on the bedside table together... it sucks when you wake up and find your phone wet from sweat from a water cup. fiddling with me all day, so I don't know how it will be with external elements. Next time I'll try to take my mug on business and see how it holds up. Remember this is a hospital cup and should be kept at the patient's bedside. 😉Update: I was away on business (about 5 hours in warm weather) and when I got home I still had cold water and ice in my cup.
