Review on 🚡 High-Performing SRAM Truvativ Chainring MTB 36T: Boost Your Mountain Biking Experience with 4 Bolt & 104 mm BCD Aluminium Design by Mike Slippy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Significantly improved gear shift (with new chain).

I replaced a 5 year old sprocket on my Specialized MTB. At the same time I changed the chain and a small sprocket. Big difference in shifting - much crisper and less noise. I did the work myself and it was actually pretty easy, all it took was a couple of correct type allen wrenches. I looked on youtube to see that I got caught in the handle which had to be removed to make the replacement. Good for another 5 years? Hopefully . :-) I left the cassette on the rear wheel, since I ride 2 wheelsets (road/MTB) and 10 gears alternately, I assume that steel sprockets wear out less than an aluminum chainring (this is definitely the first). The cassette was almost $50 x 2 so I was willing to take the risk because the chain was worn out. Just take a look.
