This item was exactly the same as the original equipment. It fits perfectly and works like a charm. It also arrived quickly within four days. It costs a bit more than some of the cheaper brands but I've done it before and was disappointed. This one was the winner.

Product works great but does not come with a pin or guard as described. , Use with protectionSupplied in a TruVativ package "Slightly disappointing. I would recommend marking this on the actual product label/description, similar to the packaging where it says 'NO PIN'.

My mountain bike's chain intermittently fell off the sprocket after years of heavy use. The original chainring had visible damage to the teeth and housing. I bought it as an exact replacement. It was the same chainring, right down to the letter position. Installation was easy. Now my chain doesn't fly off anymore and the bike shifts much smoother.

I replaced a 5 year old sprocket on my Specialized MTB. At the same time I changed the chain and a small sprocket. Big difference in shifting - much crisper and less noise. I did the work myself and it was actually pretty easy, all it took was a couple of correct type allen wrenches. I looked on youtube to see that I got caught in the handle which had to be removed to make the replacement. Good for another 5 years? Hopefully . :-) I left the cassette on the rear wheel, since I ride 2 wheelsets…
