We have 3 cats. One is about 2 years old, one is about 6 years old and the third is about 18 years old. We took cats to the vet after they started coughing, sneezing and having eye discharge. The vet gave us an ointment to put on the cat's eyes and said she had feline herpes. They liked it (no). I did a little research on the internet and came across this product. I went to the vet and told her about it. She said we no longer use lysine for cat herpes. After further research on the internet and trying not to spend thousands of dollars on cats, a 6 year old who was getting worse saw a complete difference. He has clear eyes and is not coughing, sneezing or showing any symptoms like he used to. We also noticed a big difference in our 18 year olds. He used to have fits of coughing and sneezing. Now he's become a nuisance again when he wants to eat. No sneezing, no coughing, no discharge from eyes. Our younger indoor cat is still sneezing and coughing a bit and still has eye discharge. I only give him 1/4 scoop once a day with meals. I was worried about giving him too much but I'll give him 1/2 scoop and see if that helps. So far this has worked in our cats with herpes.
