I bought the light blue size 2 for my son a few weeks ago and he loves it. They're flexible, comfortable, and even survived when he forgot to take off his shoes before going to the pool. I liked it so much that I bought the black one half a size bigger. We received them yesterday. Size 2.5 was exactly the same as shoe size 2. The black style is also not as comfortable as the blue style. The toes have an odd padding that my son hated. I send them back and get the light blue style again. I'm a bit sad that styles aren't always good.
