3 stars for the installation because if you follow the instructions you will end up doing something wrong. Instructions must be processed once. If you have basic knowledge of electrical engineering, you are in good hands. I attached the entire unit to the wall with an access panel. I threw away the 12V DC adapter because I didn't want the cord hanging from the front of the receiver to look messy. I mounted the 12V converter in the wall and hardwired it to the included pigtails in the AJ box. There is an additional 3 wire pigtail that is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. I excluded it from the install and everything works fine. This is loud enough for a home shower speaker system. No distortion even when the Pantera is played at full volume. Loudspeakers are connected via left/right channels. Bluetooth connection is easy and seamless. Has a few dated bells and whistles but I think they are just trying to cast a wide net with this product. Microphone input, memory card reader. Not necessarily. The main function of this setup is to listen to music via Bluetooth while showering or listen to music in the lobby once guests have arrived.
