I broke a few ribs in a mountain bike accident. I was looking for pain relief and support for my broken ribs. It really helped! I am so glad I made this purchase. I truly believe it has helped me recover faster and feel more comfortable throughout the healing process. One thing to remember about cracked ribs is make sure you're breathing in and out properly and often. You should also have been given a spirometer as part of your treatment. Some experts are wary of swaddling for fear of incomplete inhalation and exhalation. Personally, I think the wrap helped me with this process as it kept me from feeling like my chest was going to explode with those deep breaths. I'm a 5'11" male, 215 lbs, 46" chest. The mount fits me with plenty of clearance. This is excellent value for money! I would highly recommend this brace to help with a bruise, tear or broken rib! And the last. Broken ribs are without a doubt the most painful injury I have experienced in my 41 years on this planet!
