Comfortably fits two slices of a regular sized loaf of bread. The guide includes a sheet with almost every type of bread ever made and toast recommendations. My 6-year-old got the hang of it relatively quickly and can easily fry waffles himself. The browning is very even; try a few times to adjust the settings to your liking. Advantages: even toasting, beautiful appearance, easy to clean from crumbs. Cons: Large, takes up more counter space than a regular two-slice toaster. $$$ for a toaster. I don't know if I would buy it again if it didn't last long. I had a basic double toaster that cost $20 and previously lasted 8 years.
