After getting a new car with the XM radio and loving it, I bought this Sirius TTR1 so I could listen to it at home. Set up XM to pay an additional 2.99 per month (on top of car satellite radio subscription) to get xm internet radio at my house. I received the radio - set it up - in March 2011 and yesterday, about a month later, the radio stopped connecting wirelessly. I've tried all the fixes and also did a "factory reset" and then re-entered all my info (XM userid and password, wireless router SSID and WPA2 key) - and it still won't connect . After a month of use I would STRONGLY advise anyone not to buy this radio as it worked for about a month and now it has stopped working. Update on previous review: After writing the above review the radio started working again for no apparent reason - and it has been working fine for the last 6 months, but yesterday yesterday it just stopped connecting wirelessly again. I did a factory reset again, re-entered my wifi router's key (which btw was able to find the radio) but no luck. Just sits there trying to connect and then won't connect. The good news is that this time I called Sirius XM's new support number (1-866-635-2349) and they put me through to another support (eventually convincing them that the radio was faulty and NOT my wireless router). Office (somewhere in Indiana who got me another replacement radio for TTR1 (still from a third location, in California). By the way, if they send a replacement radio, they offer two options: Give them a credit card number and they will send a replacement PRIOR to sending the defective radio back OR you simply send them the defective radio (without giving your credit card number) and they will send you a replacement I went with the first option - should receive the radio for a replacement in 7-10 days I have to pay shipping costs when I send a bad radio back to the TTR1, so the replacement might be as unreliable as the first TTR1 I bought - but since these replacements cost SiriusXM money, they might take steps to improve the quality of the TTR1 radio The fact that the folks on the above number were relative b me quickly with the replacement zbΓΌro and let me know that this is a common problem that SiriusXM is trying to deal with - to the point that they are now willing to replace faulty TTR1s. even after the 90 day guarantee.
