Review on Aprilaire 4655 Manual Humidistat by Darrell Beecher

First impression: Humidifier is grey, NOT white. I've had it for a day now and it seems to be working properly. Some users find that drywall needs to be cut for installation. Nowhere in the instructions does it say this, but I understand why some people make sure the unit is perfectly flush with the wall. I want an easy install so I don't have to cut drywall. I had a red and white wire and I connected it in seconds, very easy. My old humidistat had more temperatures so you could keep the windows moisture free. I wish it had more information about humidity/temperature. Overall it works and my house doesn't look like it did in the 70's anymore. Update: Device set to 35% humidity and as can be seen in the picture, the thing is worth the money. We've had this for about a month now. Very satisfied. I just wish it was really white.
