I had a little trouble at first, but I figured out a few tricks and they work great. 1. Although it says "no stripping required," I've found that stripping 1/8" at the end increases success, especially with 16 or 18 gauge wire. And use needle nose pliers to get plastic rings with breaking out larger wires. The scissors just didn't work for me. 2. I used pliers to snap the ends shut. At first I was afraid the connector would break, but I found that the tighter the more I got I pressed. None of the plugs are broken. I will buy more. I hope this helps someone.
