I loved my third party keyboards and mice and would switch between them from time to time to get a different feel or workflow depending on what I was working on. As soon as I got my hands on Apple keyboard cases, I just used them at home, sacrificed myself and limited myself. With the introduction of this mount, I can again easily use my iPad at perfect eye level instead of looking down when using keyboard cases. Some might want this mount stand to swing up and down for more flexibility, but that's not the metal lever option from the base on the back of the iPad mount. This is the overall height which I feel is the standard height from table height to your eyes. You can tilt/tilt your iPad up or down to make it even better. The rear support arm is not height adjustable, making it compatible with a smooth pivoting from horizontal to vertical and vice versa. You also need to leave room for using the Qi charging pad. The magnetic mount that attaches to the back of the iPad with V2 Pitaka Case is durable. It doesn't move as it has a reliable, durable magnetic mount. I can push the iPad down to tilt it very easily as it doesn't pop out of the magnetic mount. Another great benefit of this mount is that you can rotate your iPad to any orientation you want, portrait or landscape. I mainly use landscape mode, but I've definitely come across apps and websites that work best in portrait mode, and I've never been able to fit that into the keyboard cases I have since they only support landscape mode. When rotated to the desired orientation, it locks into place and I'm not worried about it moving on its own. The Qi wireless metal base has a premium appearance and is made of zinc alloy to help heat dissipation. There are stickers on the rubber feet under the base which can be removed if you really want to make it a permanent desk mount. I had no trouble moving it around my table before firing up these sticky pads. The metal base attaches to the rear metal arm using the included hex wrench, which attaches magnetically under the base. The only piece of plastic is a rotating square that attaches directly to the back of your iPad. Comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable to power the wireless charger. In order not to neglect the attention to detail, they added a carbon fiber look to the ends of the cable, which is super premium. There are small marker dots on the base to help you position the phone in the correct position. The base also has the word Pitaka in 3D. Rubber, that's just super premium. You don't need to buy an extra Pitaka case as it comes with a magnetic metal square pad that you attach to your device to work with this stand. Comes with thin pattern pages for multiple devices to ensure you place the magnetic patch in the right place. On the underside of the base is a large LED that flashes in color when you turn it on and lights up when you're actively charging. This is not a MagSafe charger, so it will work with any Qi charger. Still works with my iPhone 12 Pro with MagSafe case but no magnetic pull to place it in the perfect spot. Just go through the markings on the base and look for the LED that lights up on the base or the battery icon to change it on the phone. I know this has taken longer than expected, but if you're still reading, there were many highlighted points to talk about. back to my desktop workstation with the ability to see my iPad at eye level and use my mouse and keyboard at home and use Magic, Smart Keyboards when away. I didn't realize how much more comfortable it is to look straight ahead at eye level than to look down all the time when using these stands. I think with the extra flexibility this offers and the amazing finish you won't be disappointed!
