Now on 16th July 2020, I bought/installed on 20th September 2019 so 9 months. Has worked fine for so long. It has a long range, which is very useful for my daily 1968 American Rambler driver. It seems that immediately (probably just not noticed) a strip of snot dripped onto the glass from the so-called sucker, which after a few days began to roll down and fall off. I got it before it left a nasty slime on the dashboard. I wiped all the slime off with acetone, hoping there was a suction cup, but there wasn't - it's a flat, high hardness plastic container for the slime. So the slime doesn't complement the teat, it replaces it, which means I can't smear something on it to fill in the gaps and reattach it, I have to replace it. So the "suction power" is zero, but until the slime melts it has a sticky ability. I often use a silver folding screen on my windshield and leave a window down to minimize heat build-up. I'm in Los Angeles. I doubt it will work that long in Phoenix.
