I take them in a large size to make sure they can wrap the cat box completely - I use a Buddha box so it's quite large, probably the biggest advantage - and I've always used 2 of them at a time because the kittens will inevitably scratch the top layer but then you still have the end result and it makes cleaning a lot easier... I think I received four packs and this was the second time I have used this brand and this item ordered... I've used others That we're not that good at thickness because of the size... And I think it's the best value for money so... Oh yeah, because there are so many of these that I even once i ran out of garbage bags in my home i was glad i have a few to use for general use. So if you're concerned about ordering in bulk, don't do so as there are countless uses :) ETA: One more piece of advice: Anyway, which I often stick to, tape the inside of the outer box to secure the edges of the bag , so the kittens don't accidentally scratch her, and pull her so that she closes the tray, because then they'll play around, and so will I, haha.
