I wasn't sure if my dog would fit. This is a 20lb Mini Australian Shepherd that stands 26 inches tall. Thankfully, not only does she fit, but she loves to hang around in her backpack during the day. Now I have a second box! The canvas strap seems solid enough and the adjustment is good. The support straps are very good and take the weight off the shoulders. Lots of little pockets for food, water and treats. As long as I'm happy Now I take it with me on hikes and motorbike trips! EDIT: 29 5 - So, only the third use of this backpack (only the second use of this belt) did the hip belt come loose immediately. Now I'm worried about the rest of the straps. I want to feel my dog is safe but now I have doubts. (Image uploaded) I'll be generous and give the bag 3 stars for now, but if all else fails.😩
