The gray color is very pleasant, with a slight beige tint at the edges. The entire collar is made of double material, making it very durable and well made. Let's see how long this lasts. I have a feeling the collar would be the first thing to come off this collar but we've only been using it for a week and so far so good. A few minor downsides are that the holes aren't in exactly the right places for our dog. I feel like I need to use it a little more than I would like. But it can work for other dogs. On the other hand, if you use this collar for the first few holes, the end of the collar doesn't reach the rubber cap that's supposed to hold the collar, it just hangs under the leash ring that moves with your dog. moved and quite annoying. We've attached a name tag to the little plastic sleeve on the front, which is a bit oddly placed but still fine. Overall I would recommend this collar but note that the holes are spaced about 1 inch apart and may not fit the way you would like.
