I'm tired of hard water buildup on faucets, showerheads, drain plugs and glassware. I doubted it would work, but I did my research and decided to give it a try. I received the product about six months ago and wanted to see if there would really be a difference. To my surprise, there was a difference. Now you need to understand what it will and won't do. It will NOT soften water or improve soap and shampoo lather. It doesn't add anything to the water like water softeners do, so you don't get salt in your water or water supply. This will reduce, but not eliminate, mineral buildup. The debris you get is a lot easier to remove and I can only assume it's better for your devices too. Read the instructions carefully. It's easy to install but the magnets are VERY strong so you have to be careful or they will stick together and you WILL NOT be able to pull them apart. I am a 69 year old widow and installed the magnets myself in about five minutes. Once installed, you don't need to do anything else. Nothing to connect or wait. All I can say is that it worked for me and I'm very happy with the result.
