This eyelash curler from PIGMOON works well on bare lashes but cannot be used after mascara. It takes a few seconds within 1 minute to heat up and turn white. It's relatively easy and safe to pinch, and I do this twice on each eye to close it from front to end. And then very quickly I applied mascara to fix it. With my other eyelash curlers I applied mascara first and then curled it, but with this one I ended up leaving a mess that was difficult to clean up on the inside wall of the top clip as you can't see it and also made 90 degree creases in my lashes, no curve. It would have been better with built in rechargeable batteries but I can forgive that because they contained batteries which is always a plus.
