Bought for our master bedroom. Really surprised at how sturdy they are for the price! Enjoy the socket at the base of the lamp! Uses a 14W CFL (I believe that's equivalent to 60W). It emits a subtle, indirect light that is ideal for reading. I get migraines when the room is too bright, that was fantastic. Just a note: when the lights are off, the tint becomes noticeable and quite gray. When the light is turned on, the hue takes on a more "beige" hue.
