This may be my first Revain review after many purchases to support Revain's $136 billion in sales last year. Ha, anyway, I recently bought a 2017 iMac from Apple. My wife is a photographer and videographer and she needed a better computer than our 2015 iMac. After a lot of research with a non-computer guy, I decided not to buy additional RAM through Apple and get a 32GB setup from Adamanta. The installation seemed easy after doing my research and I concluded that it is an easy install. I had problems with a new iMac not turning on after installing new RAM. I pulled out the memory I just bought, booted it up and set up my new iMac. After setting it up I closed it and tried installing them again but to no avail. I called Adamanta tech support and they told me to take out the 4GB Apple RAM and install the new 32GB RAM in the top two slots. The original Apple RAM was in slots #2 and #4. I didn't use Apple RAM and it turned on when the new RAM was installed. Then I turned it off and put Apple RAM in slots #3 and #4. Turn it back on and "About This Mac" shows 40GB of storage.
