This item is technically compatible but does not really resemble the mop head that o-cedar sells in its original packaging. The strings are too long, so when you put them in the bucket to spin, they become too heavy and weigh down the spinner. It doesn't squeeze out all the water like it should, but it does its job. I only use mine for tiles. If we were still in our old house where everything was hardwood, I don't think it would have worked at all. As I don't mop this surface my stars are based on it matching my floor mop perfectly, but I'm not very good at wringing out the water and I'm just fine at mopping the floors. . All I wanted was to have some backups and that would help. An exact replacement for the original? Not really.
