I was very excited about this product and for the most part it's fantastic. It has the ability to install four sensors that are colour-coded to easily see which cut of meat is at temperature, and the range is pretty good. I can have the transmitter in my garden and the receiver upstairs in my bedroom (for overnight cooks) and it works perfectly. The reason for the one star is that it's practically unusable as it turns off automatically after two hours. I first noticed this while cooking at night. I woke up in the cook a few hours later and the phone was off (kinda defeats the purpose of the high-low alarm). I contacted the thermopro and they sent me a new one the next day. Used this new one today and of course it shuts off after 2 hours too. I read the manual and it says it will turn off automatically if the sensors are below 40 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes and my smoker is set at 250F, so well above 40C. If only it would stay on all the time this would be a 5 star product but since it doesn't work after 2 brand new devices I'm giving it 1 star.
